What To Expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It will also help alleviate any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling prior to your first appointment. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctor. Please bring a list of your current medication, allergies, your insurance card and photo ID. We look forward to your first visit.
Dr. Cole does not treat diseases of the male genitalia. She also does not see children under the age of 18, except for acne or acne scarring. Due to new regulations imposed by the ACA, full preventive skin examinations are now no longer covered by insurance unless the patient has a history of precancer or skin cancer, or has a member of their immediate family diagnosed with skin cancer. There will be an additional $50 charge for a full skin exam if the patient does not meet the aforementioned criteria, unless they are able to bring in a waiver from their insurance company.
